Eminence Management Finds Growth in Conference

The Director of Eminence Management described the role travel plays and the success of his company. He highlighted an upcoming trip, the networking potential it will offer, and a number of other benefits it will yield.

“It's true that some business leaders think sending their teams to conferences and other industry events deliver returns that fall short of the investments,” said Sean, the Director of Operations for Eminence Management. “That has never been my experience, however. Every time my colleagues and I take a trip, we enjoy a broad range of positive outcomes -  not the least of which is a bigger network.”

Sean reported that three leaders from the Eminence Management office will be attending a conference in October. It will take place in Dallas, Texas. He expects them to encounter numerous growth opportunities, in addition to interaction with successful and influential people.

“High-level leaders from all over the nation will be at this function,” Sean stated. “My colleagues will connect with and learn from the best of them. I am confident that they will return to our office full of fresh energy and new ideas to share. Of course, they will also attend a variety of workshops and presentations, which will cover topics ranging from strategic planning to consumer behavior. Without a doubt, the event will offer tremendous value.”

Eminence Management Owner Details Additional Perks of Business Travel

Networking and learning may be the biggest perks of attending an industry gathering, but Sean indicated that there is a lot more to be gained. No matter where they go, for instance, the team members are purposeful about absorbing everything the new locale offers. They visit different restaurants, learn about the regional culture and history, and have fun exploring the available recreational activities.

“Business travel is also an excellent test of self-care,” Sean continued. “Throughout Eminence Management, we are committed to healthy eating, regular exercise, and restful sleep. When we are on the road, we must be diligent about ordering carefully from menus, getting comfortable in our hotel gyms, and turning in early.”

According to Sean, getting away from the usual workplace and daily routines helps prevent burnout as well. The new stimuli of an unfamiliar destination fuels motivation, focus, and creative thinking. These things greatly enhance morale and productivity in the long run.

“The team-bonding potential that business trips offer cannot be overstated,” Sean concluded. “Every adventure is an opportunity to learn more about one another and make memories together. In this way, our travels enhance our culture and ultimately further our success.”
